Root Beer League

Buffalo hockey runs a weekly youth hockey program with one pick-up game and one practice per week. The goal is to have fun and develop new skills.

Junior (U11/13)

Cost: $500

Weeks: 10 (Mar 30 - Jun 13, 2026)

Games: Sat nights PI2

Practices: Weekday 6am (Pitt or PI2)

Intermediate (U15)

Cost: $500

Weeks: 10 (Mar 30 - Jun 13, 2026)

Games: Sat nights PI2

Practices: Tue night PI2

Senior (U15/18)

Cost: $500

Weeks: 10 (Mar 30 - Jun 13, 2026)

Games: Wed nights PI2

Root Beer League Games

Every Wednesday or Saturday night we make new teams based on the available players. We play 5 on 5 hockey with 2 refs and coaches on the bench. Drinks are provided for kids after the game and maybe we'll throw a pizza party into the mix.

Buffalo Development Practices

Practices are run by experienced skills coaches Jeff Hajner, Kieran Liversidge and Eric "Badger" Arksey. We'll provide dedicated goaltender instruction for the goalies as well.
